Our house is cluttered. Packed full to the brim of toys, books, games, clothes, stuff. Just stuff everywhere. This seemed to have just happened with three boys who are now 11,9 and 6. Is it the same in your house? We cannot add to the clutter anymore this Christmas.

I urge people whom are buying gifts to look at the option of an experience rather than a thing this year. The power of a memory of doing something really special is going to worth far more than yest another plastic pressie or box of smellies. The person you are gifting a present gets to experience something special that they might not have had the opportunity to do.

Theatre Trip

This is something my eldest son has been gifted. He loves music and dancing and really loves going to the theatre to see it live. So I have bought a voucher to see a show for him and I (choose from 6 different shows), upper circle seats, plus dinner at Prezzo or Zizzi. The voucher costs £99. This is something I have done before and really enjoy. I made sausage rolls and mince pies at Christmas last year but would love to spend a whole day in a cookery workshop. This is £200 so a big gift, maybe something nice to gift to you husband or wife where you can do it together.

A Spa Break

One of my favourite things to do is a spa break and I got to try out the best hotel and spa this year with my friend Becky, but its  perfect gift for a couple, or to gift to your other half. This is such a lovely way to spend an afternoon with a best friend. I have tried many, afternoon tea with real life cats at Lady Dinah’s, tea at the Kensington Hilton, bottomless bubbles and afternoon tea at the Grosvenor. Create Your Own Perfume

I tried out this experience recently and really enjoyed it. I enjoyed an interesting session learning about the art of perfume making along with choosing my favourite combination of scents to make my own signature perfume.
