VE Day Printables and crafts for the family

VE Day Printables and crafts

I wanted to share a useful post packed full of VE day printables and crafts, sourced from other fabulous bloggers who are better at creating crafty stuff than me! Get them printed out and coloured in with the children this week in preparation for the celebrations on bank holiday Friday 8th May. And its going to be sunny!! Our new garden pool is filling with water as I write in preparation!

All of the below is quick and easy to download and print out. There’s no sign up process or payment required. All is free and easy (it annoys when you have to subscribe just to get a free picture of a flag!)

  1. The Purple Pumpkin Blog

Firstly what a great name for a blog, I shall contact Michelle the owner and let her know!! It has a vast resource of printable for VE day. From bunting to cake toppers, posters and popcorn cones. I have printed out the bunting, bonus no need to even colour it in!

This pictures shows a combination of bunting from Purple Pumpkin and Baker Ross (Baker Ross are the ones I have coloured in and loved doing so!)

2. Baker Ross for creative ideas and printables

Baker Ross also has a wonderful range of different ideas and printables. I love the tissue union jack flags and the colouring in bunting. I have printed out so much, we are going to have bunting everywhere!

3. Posters and other Printables from Thrifty Mum

My friend Hollie has produced some great resources, I have printed out the Union Jack posters and have coloured one in. Yes I had to check where the red and blue bits went! Also available is bunting and poppy cut outs. Go check out her site!

5) Faith from Much More With Less

Has written a whole post on frugal things to do for VE day. Including baking, scones and Victoria sponge. I can confirm the Victoria Sponge recipe is amazing, I made it for my birthday in March, see picture!. And yes today I will be making scones for cream tea. Also she has made the most beautiful decorated jam jars! Check out the post for even more ideas.

Have fun printing out your VE day printables and crafts, and enjoy the mindful colouring in!
